Podgorica, (MINA) – All political actors in the Parliament should show good will and agree on the necessary reforms with the aim of further improvement of electoral legislation, said Director General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Policy at the European Commission Christian Danielsson.
Parliament Speaker Ivan Brajovic met on Thursday with Danielsson and introduced him with the parliament’s results.
Brajovic, according to the press release from the Parliament, pointed out to the efforts that the ruling majority invests so that Montenegro would continue with the initiated reforms in the EU integration process.
Danielsson emphasized that the following months are great challenge for all political actors in the parliament to express will and agree on necessary reforms with the aim of further improvement of electoral legislation and implementation of the recommendations given by the relevant international organizations.
Danielsson emphasized that the new European Commission has a clear message about credible Western Balkans strategy and will keep and accelerate the enlargement process.
