Podgorica, (MINA) – Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoje Katnic said that there is no reason for him to resign from that position, despite the requests of the citizens in protests.
Katnic told Dan daily that the results he achieved since he had been appointed answer to the question if he would or not resign.
“You can judge by yourselves based on everything I’ve done. Ask Dusko Knezevic and others I processed if I would resign. Ask the members of 13 organized crime groups I brought to justice. I believe that you will get the answer from those 88 charged and 28 indicted for organized crime”, Katnic responded to the question if he would resign.
The citizens requested in the rallies his resignation due to selective justice, but Katnic claims that he treats everyone equally.
“I am sorry to see how they kindled those people to protest. They would have been better off if they worked their land, if they had any, growing onions or something else, since hard and gloomy year is in front of us. I would not like that someone sees this as an insult, but as a benevolent advice, since I do it myself”, said Katnic.
