Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro is committed to close cooperation with its neighbors, through bilateral, regional and multilateral fora, as well as in the EU integration process, Minister of Foreign Affairs Srdjan Darmanovic has stated.
Darmanovic met with UN Undersecretary General for Political Issues Rosemary di Carlo on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.
The MFA has stated that the talks focused on topical issues in the region.
“Di Carlo welcomed Montenegro’s constructive role, its results on the EU course, as well as the role of the youngest NATO member state in promoting the values of the Alliance,” the press release from the MFA said.
