Budva visited by tourists from more than 170 countries

Budva, (MINA-BUSINESS) According to the Central Registry of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, the tourists from over 170 different countries have stayed in all types of accommodation in Budva.

The Tourism Organization of Budva (TOB) says that the tourists from Russia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany and Ukraine account for the majority of tourist arrivals and overnights.

The National Tourism Organization (NTO) is encouraged by the fact that the tourists from Germany, the most important outbound market in Europe, have been predominant guests in the collective accommodation in the first six months of this year.

“According to the official statistics released by Monstat, the tourists from European countries account for 79 percent of the total number of guests. The largest outbound market is Germany, with 11 percent of the total number of tourists staying in the collective accommodation, followed by Russia, Serbia, Albania, China and France,” says TOB.

TOB finds interesting that the tourists from the remote destinations such as Japan, India, Indonesia, South African Republic, Cuba, Malaysia, and Taiwan have visited Budva this year, as well as the tourists coming from other interesting destinations, including Papua New Guinea, Mauritius, Cambodia, Nigeria, Venezuela, Peru, Uruguay, Aruba and Seychelles.
