Average salary €510

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – An average net salary in Montenegro amounted to €510 in March, down 0.8 percent on the month before.

Given that, compared with February, the consumer prices increased by 0.6 percent in March, the actual net salaries in Montenegro saw a 1.4 percent decrease in this period, says Monstat.

According to the Statistical Office, an average net salary in March increased by 0.4 percent compared with the last year’s corresponding period.

 

An average gross salary amounted to €765 in March.

 

Across different sectors, average net salaries increased in March in the field of real estate, information and communication, wholesale and retail trade, financial and insurance services, and education.

 

On the other hand, the wages decreased in this period in the field of professional, scientific and technical activities, art, entertainment and recreation, mining and quarrying, accommodation and food services, other services, electricity supply, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, civil engineering, water supply and wastewater management, processing industry, public administration and defense, transport and warehousing, healthcare and social welfare.
