Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs, Osman Nurkovic, has said that the Government expects a letter of intent from a company interested in acquisition of the national carrier, Montenegro Airlines (MA).
He said at a press conference that he was not familiar with the details of this letter.
“Whoever buys MA, will not get a company with problems. We have resolve them,” said Nurkovic. He added that the Ministry was doing its best to keep the national carrier afloat, because it was a company that had potentials.
Asked to comment on the concession contract for the airports and the issue of MA’s debt to the Airports of Montenegro, Nurkovic said that the this issue will certainly not be approached by a concessionaire from the emotional point of view.
