Podgorica, (MINA) – The transfer of the earthly remains of members of the Petrovic Njegos dynasty is a statehood duty, Prime Minister Dusko Markovic said at a meeting with Prince Nikola Petrovic in Podgorica on Wednesday.
Markovic introduced the Prince to the efforts that the government has been taking to this end, the government said in a press release.
The meeting also discussed the delivery of the commitments arising from the Law on the status of the descendants of the Petrovic Njegos dynasty, including the issue of the dynasty residency.
Prince Nikola Petrovic announced his intention to spend more time in Montenegro and proposed closer cooperation between the Petrovic Njegos Foundation and the state authorities through several projects.
