Podgorica, (MINA) – There are no legal grounds for the opening of criminal proceedings in relation to the tax relief granted to the company Adriatic Marinas, which manages the tourist complex Porto Montenegro, the Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) has stated.
Tivat Mayor Sinisa Kusovac and Adriatic Marinas CEO David Margason signed in late September an agreement introducing a tax relief for the company worth €5.6 million.
The prosecution authorities said that they have found no legal grounds for criminal prosecution against any person in relation to this case.
The SDT explained that this was a civil law matter and a relationship between a creditor and a debtor, adding that in case of any differences in views parties to the agreement can refer their dispute to the competent court.
