Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The credit rating agency Standard&Poor’s (S&P) has affirmed the stable outlook for Montenegro, maintaining its B+/B rating.
The Ministry of Finance says that, since this is the second time that S&P has affirmed the Montenegro’s last year’s rating, it can be expected that it will be revised upward after the third affirmation.
“Another relevant global institution recognized the seriousness of the fiscal consolidation measures implemented, as well as an overall increase in the economic activity resulting from the improvement of general business conditions,” says a press release issued by the Ministry.
