Zabljak, (MINA) – Several hundred citizens of Zabljak protested on Saturday against building of bungalows and cutting forest in the Black Lake proximity.
The citizens reiterated that it necessary to preserve the Black Lake and that construction in its proximity and within the national park should not be allowed.
They were also protesting against construction of infrastructure leading towards the Black Lake.
The citizens had a performance during which they made a human chain around the rented restaurant and the rest of the park.
Zabljak municipal parliament councilors unanimously passed Thursday the conclusions which proposed to the Ministry of Tourism and Sustainable Development and the Public Works Administration to withdraw the Plan of construction of temporary objects in the National park Durmitor and annul the tender for building communal infrastructure in the street leading towards Black Lake.
Minister of Sustainable development Pavle Radulovic said on Friday during the meeting in Zabljak that he will call the collegium and withdrew the plan once he receives the decision passed by the municipal assembly.
