Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was stated at the award ceremony for the most successful Montenegrin companies that socially and economically responsible and transparent business contributed to the development of Montenegrin society and economy, while it was important to recognize and promote good examples in business in order to encourage other companies.
The awards in 25 categories and the publication Business Newspapers – Top 100 in Montenegro were presented within the framework of the Top 100 in Montenegro project.
Director of the Top 100 in Montenegro project Ljiljana Burzan Nikolic said that it was important to keep track of the growth of economic success indicators, adding that it was done thanks to the joint efforts of institutions and companies.
“We are proud to have become a strong link both companies and institutions can rely on,” said Burzan Nikolic.
State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance Nemanja Katnic said that Montenegro’s economy had seen a strong and dynamic growth in 2017 and 2018 at the rates that were higher than expected.
He said that more than 18,000 new jobs had been created in Montenegro in the previous two years.
