Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Mayor of Podgorica Ivan Vukovic has said that all major projects in the Capital City are implemented at a good pace, in line with the projections related to the construction of a south-western bypass and the Donja Gorica Boulevard.
At a meeting with the heads of the Capital City’s secretariats, he said that the local administration is one step away from the singing of an agreement for implementation of the most important capital project – the Wastewater Treatment System.
It was concluded at the meeting that meetings of the local parliament were used to intensify the activities and adopt 34 detailed urban plans and three location studies.
“The conditions have been provided in that way to continue with the development of the Capital City and intensify the economic activities, as well as to create new jobs and alleviate the negative consequences of unemployment in Podgorica,” says a press release issued by the PG Bureau.
Vukovic expressed his satisfaction with the results of the joint efforts achieved in the second part of the last year, adding that we was positive that they would be even better this year.
