Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro and the USA will continue developing partnership in education and joint exchange projects and reconstruction of school facilities, it was noted in the meeting between Minister of Education Damir Sehovic and US Ambassador in Montenegro Judy Reising Reinke.
The special topic, as stated, were student exchange programs, which have been significantly improved by signing of the MoU on Fulbright program last year.
According to the press release, testing for high school student exchange FLEX programs was organized this year too, based on which 15 students are currently visiting the USA, and application for UGRAD student exchange program has been recently completed.
In regard to joint work on restoration of school facilities, it is stressed out that several school facilities are currently being reconstructed from the US donation worth $550,000.
“Reinke noted that introduction of English language in preschool education is an important step towards internationalization of Montenegrin education system”, the press release stated.
