Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro and Macedonia share the same European and Euro-Atlantic values and see their common future within the European Union and NATO, Prime Minister Dusko Markovic and Macedonia’s new ambassador to Montenegro Mihajlo Trpkoski noted at a meeting on Tuesday.
“The meeting found that the relations between the two friendly countries are exceptionally good and substantial, that Montenegro and Macedonia share the same European and Euro-Atlantic values and that both countries see their future within the EU and NATO,” a government press release says.
Markovic reiterated Montenegro’s full support for Macedonia’s name agreement with Greece, describing it as a wise and visionary move unprecedented in the region for more than a decade.
