Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – At today’s meeting, Mayor of Podgorica Ivan Vukovic and Minister of Economy Dragica Sekulic stated that investors had been expressing interest for some time in the development of a solar power station at Velje brdo.
The purpose of their meeting was to improve further cooperation between the Capital City and the Ministry.
They agreed that the solar power station project would be based on the model of the solar power plant at Briska gora, which had drawn the attention of reputable investors as a very attractive project.
The upgraded concept confirms that the Government had a good policy in that field, focusing on job creation, sustainable and efficient exploitation of natural resources, more reliable and improved electricity supply to the citizens.
