Investments in the ski centre to boost local economy

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Prime Minister Dusko Markovic has said that the investments in the ski centre Zarski, amounting to nearly €30 million, will contribute to job creation and boost the local economy of Mojkovac.

Congratulating the Municipality Day to the citizens of Mojkovac, he said that Montenegro has achieved excellent results in the field of national and foreign policy this year.

“I am positive that the citizens of Mojkovac recognize Government’s efforts focusing on the development of the main infrastructure and provision of preconditions for a more dynamic development and better quality of life for every individual,” Markovic says in his congratulatory message.

According to a press release issued by his Office, he said that the local administration had given a great contribution to the success of the development vision through the constructive attitude it has towards all open issues.

“Having recognized such efforts, the Government has amended the Law on Financing the Local Self-Government,” the press release says, adding that, as a result, the municipal budget of Mojkovac will be higher by more than €500,000 a year.
