Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Compared with the last year’s corresponding period, the industrial production saw a 24 percent increase in September, says Monstat.
“Compared with the same period last year, the industrial production index increased by 24.4 percent in the first nine months,” says a press release issued by the Statistical Office.
Monstat says that the electricity and gas supply, and air conditioning sector saw a considerable increase of 84.8 percent, while the processing sector grew by 5.3 percent in the first nine months.
In the same period, the mining and quarrying industry declined by 18.6 percent.
