Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs has said that the improvement of passenger service, development of tourism and transfer of international experience and knowhow to the employees are three key benefits of a concession contract for the Airports of Montenegro.
Representatives of the Ministry, which has organized public consultations on the concession award for the Montenegrin airports, argue that the service this company provides to the passengers is currently not at an adequate level, bearing in mind the growing demands of the tourism sector.
“Tapping of the airport resources through investments is a national priority in the period of great expansion of the tourism industry in our country. We are positive that the development of new airport capacities will strongly support Montenegro’s positioning as a high quality destination,” the Ministry told Mina-business.
