Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – At a meeting with the Mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vukovic, the Prime Minister, Dusko Markovic, said that the Government would do its best to ensure a swift and efficient implementation of major projects in the Capital City.
According to a press release issued by the Government’s Public Relations Service, the status of all major ongoing projects was analysed at the meeting.
“The status of the waste water treatment plant worth €50.5 million, the south-western bypass worth €15 million, the western bypass, the boulevards leading to Danilovgrad and Tuzi was analysed on this occasion,” the press release says.
Markovic said that, in cooperation with the local administration, the Government would take all measures necessary to make sure that these projects had been implemented as soon as possible in order to facilitate further development of Podgorica as a modern city and to improve the quality of life for its citizens.
“Further improvement of certain legislative provisions related to modernization of tax collection were also discussed,” the press release says.
