Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Osman Nurkovic has said that Montenegro offers good conditions for the development of business, adding that it has potentials for the improvement of tourism, economy and transport infrastructure.
He spoke at a panel on the airport concessions in Montenegro at the Global Airport Development Conference in Hamburg, attended by potential bidders, who expressed interest in that project.
The Ministry of Transport says in a press release that Nurkovic informed the panel about the plans for the development of airports in Podgorica and Tivat, and presented the state of play in this project.
“The prospective bidders had an opportunity to exchange opinions in direct communication with the Minister, and to offer comments and suggestions with regard to the concession document and concession agreement that are currently in the pipeline,” the press release says.
The Global Airport Development Conference has brought together 50 leading airport operators, investors, financers, and over 500 officials and experts in air transport.
This year’s conference focused on the latest industry trends, finances, investments, airport management and strategies, privatization and public private partnership.
