Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Energy Regulatory Agency (RAE) is considering the possibility of postponing full implementation of its methodology for setting the regulatory allowed income and prices for the use of the electricity distribution system for 2020. |
It was concluded at a Board meeting of the Energy and Mining Association of the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) that the period until 2020 should be used for training of clients focusing on the benefits of implementation of this methodology for the development of the energy system.
The PKCG reminds in a press release, that the methodology RAE has prepared on the basis of the Energy Law, already applies on the distribution of costs, since 1 January 2017.
The PKCG’s initiative for calculation of network costs on the basis of contracted power has been postponed on several occasions.
“Margin of error has been defined in order to allow for a gradual optimization of the clients’ needs,” the press release says, adding that it increased to +/-30 percent compared with the previous one at the request of PKCG and entrepreneurs.
