Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Minister of Tourism and Sustainable Development Pavle Radulovic has said that the system established by the Government’s economic citizenship programme functions very well, adding that it envisages a transparent and straightforward process.
At a conference of honorary consuls, he said that this was a transparent project managed by the Government.
“The programme is diverse because it is clear what kind of projects are planned for the southern and what kind for the northern region,” said Radulovic.
On the basis of this programme, which was launched on 1 January, no more than 2,000 investors will have an opportunity to obtain Montenegrin citizenship by investing in a development project.
Radulovic reminded that the Apex Capital Partners, Arton Group and Henley and Partners Government Services had been selected as the marketing agents, adding that the process would officially start after the selection of an independent auditor.
