Herceg Novi, (MINA-BUSINESS) – D-Marin Portonovi Montenegro Marina, the company that will be running operations of Portonovi Marina, has been presented at the ICOMIA World Marinas Conference in Greece.
Manager at D-Marin, Nikola Banovic, says that the company had a notable presentation of its group and Portonovi Marina, which will be opened next year, at the World Marinas Conference held in Athens between 25 and 27 October.
“It was a great honour to present our marina and the Portonovi resort, D-Marin group and Montenegro as a popular yachting destination at this prestigious event. This was a unique opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience about the growing market of marinas in the world, and to become visible as a new marina under the management of D-Marin Portonovi in Montenegro,” said Banovic.
He added that ICOMIA and Greek Marinas Association, including Attica Marinas Tour, had organized visits to four marinas for D-Marin representatives.
“It is of great importance for Portonovi and whole Montenegro to be recognized by such partners in the nautical industry,” said Banovic.
Portonovi says in a press release that the main topic of the conference, which featured 40 renowned speakers and was attended by 300 delegates from all over the world, was Cross Sea Challenge for Marinas.
D-Marin Portonovi Montenegro Marina is designed to serve boats up to 120 meters with a berthing capacity of 238. Equipped with the most advanced technology and features, the marina offers high-end services. Portonovi Marina, which will also serve as a customs entry, will respond to needs such as water, electricity, shower, laundry and gas stations.
