Countries to export electricity surplus through Montenegro

Beograd, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Branimir Gvozdenovic, has said that Montenegro invested €1 billion in interconnection with Italy, inviting all countries with electricity surplus to export through Montenegro.

At the Summit100 Business Leaders of Southeast Europe, held in Belgrade, he said that the politicians must move “from words to actions”.

“The ambassadors of all countries of the region are in Belgrade. Invite them and inform them about the current business requirements,” Gvozdenovic said at the Summit.

During the Summit, which focused on digital transformation, the experts and ministers from the region discussed different topics dealing with labour mobility, energy sustainability, strengthening of competitiveness of the national economies, and competitive potentials of the whole Southeast Europe.

One of the topics that was on the agenda on the first day of the Summit was trade facilitation in the region.
