Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the Ministry of Finance and the Tax Administration, the adoption of the Law on Fiscalization in the Trade in Products and Services will introduce the fiscal system aimed at combating the informal economy in a more efficient way, ensuring better tax collection and business climate.
“The Law on Fiscalization in the Trade in Products and Services will enable the introduction of a real-time electronic data transfer from the taxpayers’ cash registers to the database of the Tax Administration, allowing a more efficient tackling of the problem of illegal operation,” says a press release issued by the Ministry and the tax authority.
The system will be put into operation on 1 June 2019, and it is expected to increase the revenue collection by €13 million to €17 million within twelve months.
