Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – An average net salary in Montenegro amounted to €510 in October, down 0.4 percent on the month before.
According to the Statistical Office, an average net salary in October decreased by 0.2 percent compared with the last year’s corresponding period.
An average gross salary amounted to €766 in October.
“Given that, compared with September, the consumer prices declined by 0.2 percent in October, the actual net salaries in Montenegro saw a 0.2 percent decrease in this period,” says Monstat.
Across different sectors, average net salaries increased in October in the field of other services, financial and insurance services, professional, scientific and technical activities, mining and quarrying, electricity supply, information and communication, healthcare and social welfare, education, art, entertainment and recreation, water supply and waste management.
On the other hand, the wages decreased in this period in the field of accommodation and food services, real estate, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, processing industry, wholesale and retail trade, civil engineering, administrative and supporting services, public administration and defense, transport and warehousing.
