Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Prime Minister Dusko Markovic and Mayor of Podgorica Ivan Vukovic have agreed that the Capital City will certainly see a great expansion, and offer a better quality of life to its citizens in the future, adding that the investment of at least €200 million over the next four-year period would help achieve that goal.
Markovic congratulated the forthcoming Capital City Day to the citizens and local administration of Podgorica, saying that the city was keeping pace with a dynamic development at the national level.
The Prime Minister’s Office says in a press release that the two officials discussed the projects in the field of road and utility infrastructure worth tens of millions of euro, the implementation of which was necessary for the future development.
Vukovic presented the progress made in the implementation of projects related to the construction of bypasses around the city, saying that he expected the construction of a wastewater treatment facility to start next year.
Markovic said that Podgorica could expect to see benefits from the pending investments in revitalization of the power grid, and planned valorisation of the Montenegrin airports.
