Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Government has accepted a 30-year concession agreement for Bijela shipyard port with the Adriatic Marinas and the renowned Dutch company Damen.
“Overhaul of yachts and mega-yachts instead of a bankruptcy,” the Government posted on its Twitter account.
The Government says that this is a new value for Montenegro’s nautical tourism, adding that it involved a €20 million investment over a three-year period.
In September 2017, the company’s Bankruptcy Administration approved the sale of its property to the same consortium for €2.65 million.
The consortium of Damen and Adriatic Marinas, which operates Porto Montenegro, was the only bidder for the Port of Bijela concession.
