Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Net profit of Crnogorski Telekom amounted to €6.6 million in the first three quarters, €2.3 million more than in the same period last year.
The company says in a press release that its total revenues amounted to €64 million, which is at the same level as in the first nine months of 2017, with the growth of retail revenues offsetting a decrease in wholesale segment.
“The company’s EBITDA, excluding special effects, increased by 5.5 percent year-on-year to €23.8 million,” the press release says.
Telecom says that a positive trend from the first half of the year continued in the third quarter.
“Retail revenues increased compared with the same period last year, as well as with the second quarter. The profitability growth trend from the previous period has continued, while the user base of fixed internet and Extra TV saw additional positive trends compared with the previous quarter and the end of the last year,” the company says.
The company announced an expansion of its fibre optics and Turbo DSL networks.
The Executive Director of Crnogorski Telekom, Nikola Ljusev, expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved in the first nine months.
“We are very satisfied with the achieved results and proud of having succeeded in achieving our strategic goals, which primarily include the stabilization of revenues and growth of profitability,” said Ljusev.
Ljusev announced that Telekom planned to follow the same pace by the end of the year, in order to maintain the positive trend and see further growth.
