Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Montenegro Business Alliance (MBA) believes that, in negotiations with the European Union under Chapter 17, Montenegro will have to address many issues and challenges, including the adjustments in the field of customs and foreign trade.
The MBA told Mina-business agency that there were many challenges standing in the way of the closing of Chapter 17 – Economic and monetary union.
“As a member of the European Monetary Union (EMU), which has accepted the euro as a common currency that represents the highest level of monetary integration, Montenegro will be obliged to address many issues related to this chapter,” the Alliance says.
This includes the issues related to the common monetary reserves, common central bank, and harmonization of monetary policies.
