Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – There are 41,300 unemployed people in Montenegro, 1.8 percent more than last week.
According to a report by the Employment Office, the unemployment rate increased from 17.49 percent to 17.8 percent.
The highest unemployment rate reached 32.7 percent in July of 2000, while the lowest one, at the level of 10.1 percent, was recorded in August of 2009.
Since the beginning of the year, the Employment Office has registered 13,770 newly employed workers.
In the same period, 26,590 vacancies have been advertised.
