Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at a meeting the Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs, Osman Nurkovic, had with the newly appointed Ambassador of China, Liu Jin, that construction of the Bar-Boljare motorway was of great importance for both Montenegro and China.
According to a press release issued by the Ministry, Nurkovic and Jin agreed that the relations between the two countries were best ever, and that there was potential for their improvement, particularly in the transportation sector.
“Nurkovic and Jin underlined the great importance of implementation of the Bar-Boljare motorway construction project for Montenegro and China,” the press release says.
Jin said that he would enjoy the support of Montenegro as a new Ambassador of China, adding that he would pay particular attention on the motorway development project.
“Thanking the new Chinese Ambassador for his visit, Nurkovic said that both courtiers could benefit from further cooperation, reminding Jin that Chinese companies expressed interest in the railway and air transport sectors in Montenegro,” the press release says.
