Kolasin, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Director of Ski Resorts of Montenegro Milos Popovic has said that this year’s winter tourist season will end this weekend, adding that it was more successful than last year.
He said that the winter season had started in mid-December and that it would be over in the following several days.
“The ski center Kolasin 1600, which was opened later in the season because of the installation of ski lift, sold around 4,000 ski passes in 45 days, while a total of 13,000 ski passes have been sold on Durmitor in 109 days. The season was also very successful in terms of quantity of snow on the ski runs,” Popovic says.
According to a press release issued by the Government’s Public Relations Service, he announced additional works during the summer, as well as new products and services in Kolasin and other centers for the next winter season.
This winter season, the following six ski centres were open in Montenegro: Kolasin, Savin Kuk, Javorovaca, Vucje, Stuoc and Hajla.
