Podgorica, (MINA) –Last year, the Turkish international development agency TIKA invested, with the support of the Ministry of Education, over €300,000 in four projects.
At a meeting on Tuesday, Minister of Education Damir Sehovic and TIKA coordinator Enver Resulogullari announced that the successful cooperation would be continued this year, the Ministry has stated in a press release.
“The priority projects will be identified by the end of May,” the press release says.
Last year saw the reconstruction of an elementary school in Dinosa, renovation of a gym of the Tuzi Grammar School and the reconstruction and procurement of equipment for a kindergarten in Podgorica.
According to the Ministry, TIKA also donated computers to the grammar school in Rozaje, worth over €15,000.
Minister Sehovic noted that TIKA has allocated significant funds and thanked the agency for investing in the Montenegrin education system over the past years.
