Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Director of the Employment Office Suljo Mustafic has said that 495 workers from Podgorica and a total of 2,300 workers form whole Montenegro have found seasonal jobs since the beginning of the year.
“The ambition of the Employment Office is to increase this number considerably this summer. I believe we will exceed our plan and mediate in the employment of 11,000 seasonal workers,” Mustafic said at an event dedicated to seasonal employment, hosted by the Podgroica City Hall.
Mustafic said that seasonal jobs offered an opportunity to increase the employment rate in all municipalities in Montenegro.
Deputy Mayor of Podgorica Caslav Vesovic said that it was an obligation of everybody working in the administration, at both national and local level, to give a strong contribution to the employment of local workers.
“I believe that the Capital City is a good partner to the public authorities in the field of provision of business incentives,” said Vesovic.
