Revenues amount to €730 million

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Until 10 December, the Customs Administration collected a total of €729.97 million in revenues this year, 12.11 percent more than in the same period of 2017.

The customs authority says in a press release that it refunded a total of €9.46 million, adding that the net revenues amounted to €720.5 in this period, 10.3 percent more than planned.

The Customs Administration Director and his associates discussed preliminary results for this year at today’s meeting.

They concluded that the revenues had risen primarily thanks to a 19.49 percent increase in the collection of value added tax on import to a total of €484.98 million.

The press release says that a total of €217.63 million was collected in excise duties and €25.32 million in tariffs.

The customs revenues coming from the coffee tax amounted to €1.98 million while other revenues totalled €62,300.
