Brussels, (MINA) – Montenegro has still not considered the questions of the mission in Iraq and it has not been discussed by the National Defense Council, Defense Minister Predrag Boskovic has stated.
Boskovic participated in a two-day meeting of ministers of defense of NATO member countries in Brussels.
Following the meeting, he told the press that the procedure concerning a mission in Iraq has still not been completed at the level of the NATO HQ.
“It is only when that becomes certain, that we as one of the 29 member states may be able to state our position whether and in what capacity we will participate. Montenegro will be able to present its assessments and state its interest in this matter,” Boskovic explained.
