Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – According to the preliminary statistics released by Monstat, the real gross domestic product increased by 4.8 percent in the last year’s fourth quarter.
Director of the Statistical Office Gordana Radojevic has said that the Q4 gross domestic product amounted to €1.16 billion in current prices.
“The added value generated in the absolute amount was €68.8 million higher than in the same quarter of 2017,” Radojevic said at a press conference.
According to her, the real GDP growth was at 4.5 percent in the last year’s first quuarter, at 4.9 percent in the second, and at five percent in the third quarter.
Radojevic said that the last year’s preliminary real economic growth rate was at 4.9 percent.
According to her, the positive GDP trends in the last year’s Q4 are the result of a growing output of the majority of economic activities and a significant increase in exports.
