Montenegro signs DNA data exchange agreement

Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegro has concluded an agreement on automated exchange of DNA, fingerprint and vehicle registration data, which is a major step towards efficient fight against crime, illegal migration and terrorism, Minister of Interior Mevludin Nuhodzic has stated.

Minister Nuhodzic attended on Thursday the Security and Migration conference in Vienna.

“That was an opportunity for Montenegro to conclude the Agreement on Automated Exchange of DNA, Fingerprint and Vehicle Registration Data, which is being implemented as part of the Police Cooperation Convention for South East Europe,” the Interior Ministry stated in a press release.
