Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Minister of Finance, Darko Radunovic, has said that Montenegro was not compelled by the situation in the public finance to opt for the valorisation model for the Montenegrin airports involving a concession contract, adding that this option was expected to boost the profitability of this company.
“In my opinion, this model will ensure the highest profitability with the lowest risk involved, which is the reason why it is currently in the pipeline,” Radunovic said at a press conference.
He was not willing to comment on the allegations of the Social Democrats (SD) and management of the Airports of Montenegro that a loan amounting to €100,000, to be repaid over a period of 25 years, would help the company earn between €400 million and €1 billion.
