Podgorica, (MINA) – The DPS candidate for Chair of the Committee for Further Reform of Electoral and Other Legislation Branimir Gvozdenovic has said that he expects the Committee to produce the first concrete results by the end of the Parliament’s autumn session this year.
Gvozdenovic told Pobjeda that he expects members of the Committee to be appointed on Monday.
Asked how long the Committee will keep a seat for the Democrats, the DPS official said that they will keep the empty chair until the vote on Monday.
Gvozdenovic, who is a Deputy Parliament Speaker, also noted that the Committee’s remit is not the intellectual property of the Democrats and URA, even if all their proposals have been incorporated.
“That is why their refusal to participate in the work of the interim parliamentary body is surprising. This paradox in their behaviors has also been recognized by the EU, at the highest level, on two occasions in the past ten days,” Gvozdenovic said.
