Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Director of the Tax Administration Miomir M. Mugosa has said that the tax authority will focus on taking a differentiated approach towards large taxpayers next year, bearing in mind that over 40 percent of tax revenues comes from this category.
At the third meeting of the Advisory Committee for Large Taxpayers, hosted by the Tax Administration, Mugosa underlined the importance of communication with the tax payers for the operation and decision making process of this authority.
According to press release issued by the Tax Administration, the meeting was chaired by Sladjana Raickovic and attended by representatives the authority and members of the Committee, which is comprised of the taxpayers’ representatives.
Raickovic presented the activities of the Committee and the topics related to practical application of tax regulations that had been proposed by the taxpayers’ representatives.
The plans to improve the functioning of the Tax Administration’s Sector for Large Taxpayers were also discussed at the meeting, as well as the development of administrative practices encouraging voluntary payment of taxes. Longer version of article is available on a link MINA ENGLISH SERVIS
