Direct air route necessary

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – It was concluded at a meeting the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Pavle Radulovic, had with new Ambassador of Malta Karl Izzo that it is necessary to work on launching a direct air route connecting Montenegro and Malta.

The Ministry says in a press release that the two officials agreed that the launching of a direct air route would considerably improve the accessibility of Montenegro.

They discussed different opportunities for cooperation and exchange of knowhow and experience, primarily in the field of tourism and healthcare, underlining the increasingly strong connections between these two sectors.

The possibility of developing travel arrangements that would additionally attract tourists from Malta in the periods before and after the tourist season was also discussed at the meeting.

Radulovic said that the tourism cooperation agreement signed by Montenegro and Malta was very important, as it offered opportunity for strengthening of cooperation between the two countries. Longer version of article is available on a link MINA ENGLISH SERVIS
