Podgorica, (MINA) – The enlargement policy has been one of the European Union’s most successful projects ever since its foundation, Minister of Foreign Affairs Srdjan Darmanovic has stated, arguing that Montenegro is capable of completing the EU accession talks before 2025.
Taking part in the Bled Strategic Forum in Slovenia on Tuesday, Darmanovic said that in all countries of the Western Balkans there is a strong popular support for EU accession.
This year’s BSF, entitled ‘Bridging the Divide’ focuses on the topical political and security challenges facing Europe and the world, including the future of the EU and the enlargement policy, current relations in the Western Balkans and the impact of scientific and technological progress on the modern society.
