Connecting economies in focus of EBRD Annual Meeting

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Connecting Economies for Stronger Growth will be one of the key topics of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which will be held in Sarajevo in May.

The Annual meeting, planned for 7, 8 and 9 May, with gather together more than 2,000 representatives of international business community, investors, senior government officials, the EBRD and central bank governors, ministers of finance and economy, as well as the civil society organizations.

The EBRD announced that the presidents of Montenegro, Serbia and Kosovo, Milo Djukanovic, Aleksandar Vucic and Hashim Thaci will visit Sarajevo on that occasion, as well as the prime ministers of Albania and North Macedonia Edi Rama and Zoran Zaev.

At the meeting, Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented by Chairman of the Council of Ministers Senis Zvizdic.

The Western Balkan leaders will discuss many different economic and political issues of key importance for the region.
