Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – At a meeting with representatives of Moody’s credit rating agency, the Minister of Finance, Darko Radunovic, reiterated the Government’s commitment to maintaining the stability of public finance and improving the efficiency in provision of public services.
Radunovic presented the current macroeconomic framework in Montenegro to the Moody’s Deputy Director, Steffen Dyck, and the analyst of this agency, Heiko Peters.
He said that the last year’s positive economic growth trend had continued this year, adding that the gross domestic product had seen a 4.5 percent growth in the first quarter, while the preliminary results for the second quarter were at approximately the same level.
