Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – During his visit to the construction site of the Kolasin 1600 resort, the Prime Minister Dusko Markovic said that he was satisfied with the pace of works.
The Government’s Public Relations Service says in a press release that, after the unannounced visit to the construction site, Markovic expressed his satisfaction, as opposed to the criticism he had offered during his previous surprise visit.
“I have come to the same place after 70 days. Last time, we concluded that the works were not delivered at a satisfactory pace and that there was a considerable delay in the execution of the contract. It is my pleasure to say today that the works are progressing well, at a good pace, while the attitude of contractors towards this project is responsible,” said Markovic.
He added that the companies Toskovic, Tehnoput and the consortium of Doppelmayr and Novi Volvox were working with a satisfactory number of workers and adequate mechanization.
“I believe that the works are now going in the right direction,” said Markovic.
He expressed his belief that Kolasin and Montenegro would get another resort that would contribute to the development of tourism and national economy.
