Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has launched a public call offering support to young farmers starting their businesses this year.
The call provides an opportunity for the young unemployed high school or university graduates between 18 and 35 to start their business in the agricultural sector.
“In order to encourage job creation, development of agricultural production and rural areas, the Government has again offered an opportunity to the young people to start their own business in the agricultural sector by offering them the financial support amounting to €10,000,” the Ministry says in a press release.
The press release reminds that this is the third call, saying that the experience from the previous two years was encouraging, as 106 young people had received over a €1 million in financial assistance.
Together with their applications, the eligible farmers are also expected to submit the business plans.
