Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Government has accepted an annex to the agreement for land lease and wind farm development at Krnovo, envisaging that the Dutch company Masdar Energy will have a 49 percent stake in the project company.
According to a press release issued by the Cabinet meeting, following the exit of the “Ivicom Holding” from the Contract, the Annex prescribes that “Akuo Energy” shall assume any responsibility of Ivicom Holding, which was actually incurred but not settled, and which may arise before the Annex entered into force.
The press release says that “Masdar Energy” becomes a contracting party in the land lease agreement, and all its annexes.
Based on this annex, “Akuo Energy” and “Masdar Energy” will be the contracting parties to the land lease agreement as an investor, whereby they will be jointly and severally liable for the obligations of the project company from, or in connection with the land lease agreement.
