Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Early this morning, the 3D seismic imagining ship operated by Shearwater, completed its seabed exploration of the Montenegrin offshore area.
“After 29 days, the imaging of the offshore blocks four, five, nine and ten has been completed at 5:55 a.m. without longer delays,” the Montenegro Hydrocarbon Administration says in a press release.
In this period, the 3D imaging has been carried out applying all environmental protection measures in line with the Environmental Impact Assessment Study.
“The 3D seismic imaging of the Montenegrin offshore blocks four, five, nine and ten started on 19 November,” the Administration says.
The imaging, commissioned by the concessionaires Eni and Novatek, was carried out by Shearwater, in line with a concession agreement for hydrocarbon exploration and production.
